Dr. Kelly Parcell is the only doctor
in Colorado offering this service! Used in Germany since the 1950's,
this technology is now available in the U.S. for the early detection
of disorders not easily picked up by other medical imaging
technologies.
Although thought of as an alternative
to the mammogram by some, we feel CRT is best used in conjunction with
a mammogram.

What
is Computerized Regulation Thermography?
CRT is a German
engineered and an FDA approved* state-of-the-art biological
screening device. The technique is based on the principle that
tissue changes within the body correlate with temperatures detected
on the skin. It has been discovered that thermal changes precede
disease states, making thermography a true tool for preventative
health care. CRT reveals patterns consistent with documented healthy
or unhealthy states. CRT is objective, non-invasive, and
reproducible.

|
|
|
Who
should get a CRT scan?
Women and men concerned about
breast cancer
Women and men who have had breast cancer
Individuals who cannot afford to have a mammogram
Individuals who would like a non-invasive, safe and affordable
breast screening
Individuals who would like a non-invasive, safe and objective
whole body health screening

How
does it work?
Changes in the skin temperature at
over 100 points correlate to the organs and vital systems below the
skin surface. These points are measured with a non-invasive probe,
gently touched to the skin before and after a 10 minute cooling
stress. The thermogram takes less than one hour.

How to
prepare…
Do not engage in activities that will
increase your blood circulation such as hot showers, exercise, sun
bathing.
Avoid hot drinks, caffeinated
beverages, large meal, medications, supplements or botanicals that
will increase your body temperature. If questions, please call Dr.
Parcell.
Wear loose
fitting clothing, a long sleeved shirt that buttons or zips open to
the front, women avoid wearing a bra and the use of base makeup, men
avoid shaving the morning of thermogram.
